24-Hour ChatGPT Dropshipping Experiment: Surprising Results

I experimented with running a dropshipping business using only Artificial Intelligence (AI) for 24 hours to see how much profit I could generate. The goal was to let AI handle product selection, website creation, ad generation, and the entire operational process.

I used Minia to find a trending product on TikTok. After reviewing several options, I chose a portable blender with a compelling TikTok ad. Minia provided data on order volume, customer feedback, and a link to the product on AliExpress.

Next, I leveraged AI to create a website name, product descriptions, and website content on the Shopify platform. The AI suggested “Blender Friend” and automatically generated a logo, discount banners, product images, and website copy in under 10 minutes.

To attract customers, I reached out to health and food-related Instagram and TikTok pages for product promotion. Simultaneously, I ran targeted TikTok ads to reach potential customers.

After 24 hours, the total cost was $108.35, including Shopify fees, domain registration, TikTok ads, and cost of goods sold. Revenue reached $139.98 from two orders, generating a profit of $31.62.

The results indicate that AI can effectively assist in dropshipping and generate profit. This experiment demonstrates the potential of utilizing AI in online businesses.
